Jelly Belly

Last night we found a really cool restaraunt in Wis Dells owned by the same people as Buffalo Phil’s. It was called Moose Jaw.

One of the kids’ very favorite places we’ve ever visited was the Jelly Belly Factory in Sacramento. They still talk about it all the time. It seems just a little ridiculous to me, since on that same trip we visited Sequoia National Park. Candy is candy though, and my kids are apparently obsessed. We saw online that they have a Jelly Belly Warehouse in Wisconsin. We had to visit. We got up early since it was a two hour drive from our hotel. We went before Brandon’s Store training.

The Sacramento Factory was a lot bigger. They got to see the jelly beans being made there. The Wisconsin plant was just a tour of the warehouse. The kids didn’t mind. They still loved it.

Joah remembered every detail and enjoyed watching it up on the screen. Jelly Belly is a family owned company that’s been around for awhile. We learned some historical facts. Candy corn is what helped the company survive through the Great Depression.

It’s not very much, but we picked up a bag of jelly beans for our employees back home. They work so hard and this is our small way of letting them know we think of them. They are the ones who make the beautiful furniture that we get to go around and sell. We really appreciate the Gascho team and all their hard work and dedication! Isla helped hand pick each bag.

We tried something new and I unfortunately have a new favorite candy. These are addicting.

  1. Holy yum! I would totally go crazy if I knew where I could get those jelly beans from. I think you should keep jelly beans as something special so that you can use it as a way to help your youngest potty train one day! 😉
