Downtown Salt Lake City

Our campground is right in downtown Salt Lake City. After Brandon’s store trainings yesterday and picking up the RV, we decided to take the kids for a walk downtown. It was a beautiful walk! The scenery is gorgeous. Utah is one of the most beautiful states I’ve ever been to. Pretty much everywhere you go, you can see beauty.

IMG_7371.JPGThe walk was around 2 miles there and 2 miles back. We all got some good exercise and some energy out.

IMG_7368.JPGIMG_7376.JPGWhichever child was the whiniest got to ride on dad’s shoulders. Most of the time it was Brielle. It was a terrible idea not to take both strollers. Oops. I figured the oldest two could walk the whole time to burn their energy. Not a great idea when everyone was hungry.

We ate at this restaraunt the last time we were in Utah. Brandon’s cousin recommended it to us. He sure knew what he was talking about. It was amazing. We had to wait over an hour because it was a Friday night. It was worth the wait. We didn’t eat until 8:30pm which is 10:30 Michigan time. Our kids were pretty much puddles on the floor in meltdowns. Like I said, it was worth the wait. Even Isla got to enjoy some guacamole. After everyone ate, we were all nice loving humans again. We walked back home and passed out and slept like rocks.
