We managed to make it through the entire Michigan Winter without any sickness. Last night at 3:30am I had a dream that I was coughing. It turned into gagging. Then I heard “oh mom. I just accidentally puked everywhere!” Oh man. Guess it wasn’t a dream after all. It was poor little Joah. It was coming out both ends all night long. I lost track of a count. I have no idea what happened. It’s possible he got food poison, but I can’t figure out what he ate that the rest of us didn’t. He seems fine this morning. He has been asking to eat and he drank 2 bottles of water and 1 can of Sprite. Poor little buddy. I am exhausted and was planning to nap today, but he was crying for me to hold him. That never happens and how do I say no. He’s curling up and falling asleep on me because he’s exhausted. We’ve both been awake since 3:30. I’m tired, but Brandon is really tired. He was awake most of the night too. He ended up running to the store at 5am to get medicine and Sprite. He was gone all day yesterday from 7am-9pm doing trainings. He has more trainings today, but won’t be gone as late. If Joah continues to act ok we might go do something fun tonight. We only have 2 more nights in Dallas, and the sales associates gave Brandon all kinds of fun ideas to do with the kiddos.
Yesterday the kids and I spent the entire day minus rest time, school time, and meals outside. It’s funny because Brandon and I were complaining to ourselves about how pitiful this campground playground is. There is a set of swings and 2 seasaws and that’s about it. Our kids could care less. They had a blast there. Sometimes when there is less, kids entertain themselves better. There are a lot of families here camping and lots of kids running around this place. Joah made all kinds of friends yesterday. He spent a good part of the day riding bike with his new friend, Matt.

Caed really wanted to be a part of the big kid group. Joah did really good about including him.
Brielle spent a ton of time walking and balancing on this wall.
I did lots of walking yesterday while the kids played. Isla and I walked around and kept an eye on everyone. She loves the stroller.
Little miss uncooperative has really taken a turn on this trip. She begs to do school every day and she has learned to write her name on this trip. I’m so thankful because up until this point, she has been a little stinker about learning.

She always wants to be with me, so I set her right beside me while I make meals.
We had soup in the insta pot last night. Joah loved it and ate 3 helpings. I was so excited about that until 3:30 am.
This morning Joah was hungry and asking to eat some of the meat from the hog he and Brandon hunted. So I made brunch. Really praying he keeps it down.
There’s something about a baby bathing in a sink that’s so adorable. It’s always a family affair and everyone begs to help add bubbles for her.
