Now that I have all the packing undone, it feels great to be home.

One of the very first things we did when we got back, was visit my dad’s goats at the little barn by the shop. My kids have really missed them.

As you can see, Joah missed the memo that we were in Michigan again. Here he is in shorts and crocs. After an outing, he told me “I forgot how cold it is here, but I’m ready to dress warmer now.”

We’ve been catching up with friends and family.

We’ve been getting outside in small doses. My kids NEED to be outside. After a morning of school, they are overflowing with energy.

We went to see Call of the Wild yesterday. By the way, it was a great movie. Before the movie started Brielle asked where her seatbelt was and when she would start moving up and down. Brandon explained to her this wasn’t Tower of Terror. This was a movie theatre. 🤣

Brandon preached today(Sunday at church). It’s good to be back with our church family. In the two months we were gone, Isla did not forget about hot chocolate(as I was hoping she would). She asked for it first thing when we walked into the church building.
Its good to be back and settle down a little bit. The settling won’t last long. We got some very discouraging news from General RV, when we took the motor home in to be fixed. I mentioned previously that our big slide quit working while we were on the road. Turns out there are major issues. Moisture has gotten under the tile in the motor home. It’s caused everything to raise and the slide to quit working. So long story short, we’re talking major major expense and major major fix. Brandon and I are praying for wisdom. We have not been impressed with this motor home. It’s had issue after issue. The major water issue has never been resolved and we’ve had it at the headquarters in Indiana three times. We are just kind of done. We are most likely going to trade in our motor home for another. This is pretty much equal to moving a home. The new motor home we are looking at is in Florida. So there won’t be much rest, at least not for long. I know everything is going to work out. In the meantime, I’m a little stressed. We really believe we are called to keep living this life of work and travel for the next several years. The memories and experiences are so valuable. We want an RV that’s reliable and something that doesn’t leak. So anyways, all that to say, the next few weeks will be very busy.
