For those that are curious, we experienced a first today. Immediately upon entering this Pensacola KOA Campground, we were required to sign a waiver. It stated that we will not send any child age 11 and under outside unattended. If they are caught, we will be fined heavily and kicked out of the campground. Welcome to the Gulf side of Florida. The gators are heavy. I don’t have plans to send the kids outside without me. It is possible I choose to shove Joah out there in the heat of the moment of his attitude, but it’s unlikely.
I forgot to highlight a couple things in my last blog. Caed chose to name his natural sponge that he got in Tarpon Springs, Pattywinkle. He calls out for him(yes it’s a him). I have yet to not laugh when he calls out his name. Caed gets very mad at me and says, “mom, that’s his real name. I’m serious!”
Yesterday, as we left our campground the entire campground was under 10 inches of rain water. It was POURING down rain. We had no choice but to leave. We were already a half hour past checkout time. Brandon had to tear down camp and he was outside in literally just a pair of shorts. If I was mean, I would post the pictures. He got everything in the RV tore down. Next came loading the van onto the trailer(that we are towing behind the RV). That’s a two person job. Usually Brandon drives the van while I direct him. I am a darn good director, however Brandon didn’t want me to get soaked, so he had me drive while he directed. We were both laughing so hard by the time we were done. I don’t know what was funnier, my lack of driving skills or Brandon literally soaked and getting downpoured on for 10 minutes while I kept trying to follow his directions. To be fair to me, it’s a ton harder to drive the van up onto the trailer while it’s raining. The tires are slippery.

Nothing too eventful happened today. It was mostly a travel day. Brandon trained all day. We had to go with him. We stayed in the motor home and did school. Then we drove to Pensacola. We passed this group of pelicans. We also spotted a shark while driving, at least Brandon is 90% sure. It’s possible it was a dolphin.

Life with this toddler is busy. I haven’t had this active of a toddler since Joah. She is into literally everything. She is so fast. She is also so cute, and that’s what has saved her more times than one.
