We decided to watch the Sampson show at the Sight and Sound Theatre, since we were in Branson a couple nights. I’ve got to be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. If I’m real honest, I was expecting some cheesy Christian acting. Wow! Was I wrong. This was the real deal. I was blown away with how they made the story come to life. It was incredible. Joah has a new Biblical hero. He keeps talking about and idolizing Sampson, the strongest man in the world. I’m not quite sure if that’s a good or bad thing, so you can all pray for me.

I wasn’t allowed to take any pictures of the show itself. They have rules apparently. You’ll just have to take my word that it was amazing. The show was over two hours long and I thought “oh my word. The kids will never make it.” They have an attention span about the size of a pea. They all sat amazed the ENTIRE time. Even Isla did really well. They had so many live animals, and that really kept her attention. We bought our tickets last minute, so we didn’t have the greatest seats. Right before the start of the show a lady who worked there came and grabbed us. She asked if we wanted to move, so the kids could see better. It was such a blessing. She moved us only a few rows back from the stage. There was no one around us, so I felt like I could give Isla more freedom to walk up and down our row. We also had isle seats, so we got to see the animals up so close as they ran down the isle, up to the stage. At one point Brielle reached out and tried to grab the llama. Brandon stopped her.
There were a lot of impressive scenes. One of my favorites was a scene with fire. It was a dramtic Fire poof. Caed says very loud for the entire theatre to hear, “WOW! That.was.cool!!!!”
They also killed the very last scene. I wasn’t sure how they were going to portray the pillars falling. Let’s just say, it was much more impressive than I could have ever imagined. Joah was a little worried we were going to get crushed.

After the show, we headed to dinner at Lambert’s. We had been there once before and we all wanted to go back.
We had to wait 45 minutes, since it was a Friday night. The boys were very hungry. They were fine as soon as they ate.
Isla was so cute, waiting for her dinner roll to be thrown.

It was a great meal!
Yesterday was my birthday, but it sure didn’t feel like a typical birthday. With all the craziness of travel and lack of routine, it felt like any other day. Brandon did several store trainings yesterday. Then we started heading towards home. We drove until 3am. Brandon pulled over for a few hours to sleep. Now today we head to Indiana to visit some family and get our motor home fixed. It’s still leaking down below every time it rains. We have an appointment in Indiana with the manufacturer, to get it fixed. Then it’s home to Michigan for Grant’s(my youngest brother who graduated high school this year) open house. There’s lots going on the next couple weeks, and it may take lots of caffeine and scripture reading but I will survive! I’m thankful for these memories and family time!
