Its been really nice to stay at one campground for awhile. We are here at this Jellystone for 10 days total. Usually we are driving somewhere every couple days. This may not seem like a lot of work, but after around two overnights this motor home is trashed. So packing everything up and getting it ready to drive is a lot of work.
There are so many Haverteys stores(where Brandon is training) in Texas. Brandon has been driving around each day to train 1-2 stores. It’s been so nice staying in one place, and having the opportunity to really explore this campground. Although I have to admit, we are still not really hard core campers. We have yet to make a campfire. It’s not that we’re not outside a lot. We are pretty much outside all day. But we are more bike riding and pool kind of people. We always skip the campfires. After dark, we are always ready to relax and put our kids to bed. They play so hard all day and crash by the end of the day. And homeschooling and traveling does not provide any time away from kids. So we are more than ready to put them to bed and skip the fire.
The last couple days, during Brabdon’s Store training, I’ve kept the kids entertained outside. They are really into playing with water lately. They fill up buckets with our outdoor shower, and they go crazy. They play with pool toys and animals.
Isla makes showers for the animals with the watering can.

Joah made a waterfall.
We’ve gone for lots of walks.
We did a maze. This was not fun for me, but I survived. I also didn’t lose anyone.
We’ve done a rope course several times.

We’ve done a rock climbing wall.
We’ve played at the park.
We’ve gone for lots of bike rides to go see the ducks in the pond.

Caed got one final birthday surprise from Yogi Bear last night. We were all at the pool swimming and Brandon yells “It’s Thursday. We’ve got to go.” Haha. Oops. We almost missed the happy birthday from yogi, but made it just in time.

Phew! We finished up dinner and headed to bed early last night. We were all tired from playing outside all day.
