From now on, when we get to a campground I am searhing for the tornado shelter just in case…..especially since we are traveling right during tornado season. Just when we get out of it, we will be headed to florida during hurricane season. 🤦♀️
I noticed the shelter at the Oklahoma City KOA right away. We had to drive to Oklahoma City last night for Brandon’s store training this morning.
The roads are terrible here from all the flooding. We had a few miles of constant pot holes. It was terrible. Things kept falling in the motor home as we were driving.

What was supposed to be a 3.5 hour drive turned into a 5.5 hour drive because of traffic. We had to whip out the wiki stix.

Brielle made a bird nest I asked her if the mother bird has any hired help arranged to help with all those babies that are coming. She said “no she doesn’t need to hire anyone because grandma and grandpa are planning to help.”

I had the brilliant idea to introduce Mr. patience to this scrabble square puzzle. It’s the perfect RV activity right?

I had to explain to him that he was putting it together wrong. It had to be put in 3 rows of 3. He did not handle this news well.

After working at it another oh…maybe 10 minutes, he cri d “this is impossible! There is no way to do this right!” Then things ended like this. So this was a fun activity.
We finally arrived. We are staying at a Jellystone campground in Fort Worth for several days. I am glad to stay put for awhile. Brandon will be traveling to his trainings each day. We’ve stayed at a Jellystone before, but this is the biggest one we’ve ever stayed at.

We had quite the wait getting in. This place is swamped. Summer is just beginning and most schools here in Texas are done. On top of that, we came on a Friday evening.

I quick whipped up dinner in the insta pot. We had chicken and rice tonight. I know I haven’t been documenting our meals very often, but this insta pot is extremely used while we RV.
A big thanks to Victory Temple Ministry for providing us with our side dish of banana bread. They were doing a fundraiser at the gas station to help the homeless, and Brandon bought us a loaf. It was very good. Caed ate 4 pieces.
Our campsite here is huge.
We have our own canopy shade area.
And a nice big fireplace.
After dinner, we dressed for the pool.
We walked around the campground a little bit.

We turned in our birthday cards that we’ve been saving and the kids got to pick a prize out of a treasure box.
We got to see Cindy Bear.
We ended the night going for a swim.
Looking forward to a fun stay here at the Jellystone!
