San Antonio-The Alamo and River Walk

Today was a busy day. Brandon started out with his store training. The rest of us swam while he worked.

We thought it would be swamped, but it was actually less busy than last year when we visited. We only waited in line about 20 minutes. This time, it was much more meaningful for Joah because we’ve read a lot about David Crocket.

At one point Papaw Bill almost fell carrying Isla in the stroller down some steps. At another point Caed biffed about 20 times going down the escalator(while Brandon and I were managing the strollers). I literally watched him and laughed, helpless to help him, like the wonderful parent I am.

The river boat ride seemed very appealing at that point.

We rode the bus back to camp, then played at the playground. After playing, we showered everyone.

We came back to camp and put Isla to bed. She didn’t have a nap today, other than falling asleep for an hour in the stroller.Papaw Bill stayed back with her and the rest of us swam until the pool closed at 9:30. Like I said it was a very busy day. All kids were asleep 5 minutes after laying down.
