Life as a Yowler

Yesterday, Brandon had his store training in the morning. He took Brielle with him. He said she behaved very well. Our kids usually do very well one on one. After his training, he came back to camp and we loaded up and drove to the next camp in San Angelo. Brandon set up the RV quickly, then left for the airport to pick up his dad. His dad is here for a few days to hang out with us and also help with the kids. It took Brandon 3 hours with traffic just to get to the airport. It was actually six hours total….three hours there and three hours back. The rest of us stayed behind at camp. We are staying at a KOA Holiday, so there are lots of activities.

We played at the playground for awhile.

We went swimming three times yesterday.

Just as a pointer, one of my kids favorite pool toys is this paintbrush of all things. They fight over it and we have to set a timer. They take turns painting the concrete with just water. It keeps them very busy. And yes, next time we make it to a store I’m grabbing 3 more paint brushes.

“Mom, you’ve got to take my picture right next to this Texas shaped stepping stone.”

 She found a crushed worm. 🤦‍♀️We ran back to the motor home for a quick dinner then headed back outside.

I had plans to finish the night with this game of mini golf.

The pool filled up while we were playing golf and the kids begged to go swimming again. I thought “what the heck? Brandon isn’t home yet anyways.” So we all swam a third time then headed inside to wait for dad and Papaw.
