We are headed somewhere that is expected to get 9- 17 inches of snow tomorrow. Are you kidding me Duluth, MN? You have failed.
On a positive note this is the last trip of this year we will take without the RV. Campgrounds start opening again in May. We have all missed our home away from home. It helps keep more of a routine. It helps us eat healthier when we travel. It provides a familiar environment for the kids. Plus we each have our own bed. I can’t forget one of my favorite things about it, the washer and dryer. It helps me keep on on laundry, which makes things way less overwhelming when we return from a trip. And I’ve got to be real, I do not pack and unpack clothes from the RV. Those suckers stay in there the entire RV season. It’s so much less work.
We did a couple more fun girls things earlier this week before the boys returned home from Ohio. We had a girls date at Emma’s Coffee House.
Brielle had a little play date with some friends. I love these crazy girls.
We went to the park.
We found some matching brown boots at goodwill. Score! I’ve been looking for dress shoes for the kids for our upcoming travels.
Right after church I left the girls with my mom and drove and got the boys from grandma Yowler. They had so much fun. She took such good care of them. Plus she kept up with Joah’s school. I heard all about the fun things they did on the ride home. Joah read me a book he wrote on salamanders. The highlight of the trip for him was touching the salamanders at the nature center. Caed loved the whole week. One of his very favorite places to go is Grandma Yowler’s House.
The kids were so glad to be reunited again. They love and miss each other.
These two have a very special bond.
Uncle Evan told her “no, I don’t want to jump on the trampoline.” Lord, please help me.
We went back to the park again. Brielle wanted to take the boys and show them this new favorite park. We ran into several friends there. Notice Caed’s(the one in yellow pants) face. He was just a little excited.
We spent so much time outside this week. I forgot how amazing it is to send the kids outside. It sure does help with the noise level. They rushed through school each day so they could go out. It was amazing. Meals were eaten outside. This saves so much cleanup.

Joah made himself this hockey arena.
We are back to the two baths a day schedule. I’ll take it. I would much rather they play outside and get that energy out. They play and explore and sleep like rocks at night.
Like I said before we are on our way to Duluth, Minnesota for business travel with Brandon. Unfortunately it’s not quite Summer weather here. Regardless, we are excited and up for the adventure.
