I think one of the hardest things about living in Michigan is the endless long Winter. We have gotten out of a lot of it the last two years, so this year was extra tough on me. My Facebook memories have been reminding me that we were RVing in warmer states the last two years starting in February. Even though I was born and raised in Michigan, I did not have four Yowler children. I have a new appreciation for my mom raising four boys. I think it’s safe to say there is no way I could handle more than two. The amount of energy, fighting, wrestling, and gas that they bring is really crippling to a mother’s sanity.

This week has been filled with sickness for my youngest two kids. I hate when they get sick. Luckily it did not last long. Isla threw up three times. She was extra cuddly and sweet. Poor little bug. Caed threw up only once. As soon as he did, he was asking for salad.

Brandon offered to get anything Caed he wanted since Brandon was at the grocery store. Caed wanted salad. Just your typical sick food.
We had dentist appointments this week. Luckily, we are all cavity free.
Thank you to Brielle for capturing this amazing picture of me. Apparently I have been biting and gritting my teeth in my sleep and I had to have a special mouthpiece made for nighttime. Brandon informed me that he could have pooped this thing and it would have cost a lot less. 🤣
This week has been full of school, art work, play doh and playing outside. It’s finally warm enough. We even made some edible playdoh one morning for breakfast.

I decided I’m going to make it more often. It’s a way to get some food in this child. She kept asking for more “balls.” I would roll it into a ball for her and she would eat it over and over. For anyone who’s curious, the play doh contains peanut butter, powdered milk, and honey.

Notice the slime in her one hand and the wash rag in her other hand. She couldn’t resist the fun of slime, but insisted on keeping her hands clean. I’m afraid I may have a mini Carla on my hands.

Each month when Brielle gets her American Girl magazine, Joah asks when he is going to get a magazine. We decided to sign him up for Ranger Rick. Brandon got it as a kid, and Joah loves animal facts. He is known for remembering the strangest, most pointless animal facts. The kid has quite the memory. He read through the entire magazine by himself in a couple hours.

Making mud pies.

The boys made a very impressive fort.

We ended up eating lunch in the fort. Caed was having an emotional day. Life is hard when there are only two red chairs and one dinosaur chair(which he wants on any other day).

Isla was enjoying the show all while driving the “beep beeps.” Side note I used to have this obnoxious toy in the house. It then got moved to the motor home. Even worse yet. The noise level on this thing is incredible. Outside toy it was.
We did some cleaning in the motor home to get it ready for the season.

We got some ice cream after our cleaning. You know you live in Michigan when you have the warmest day of the year(around 50 degrees) and Dairy Queen’s line is clear to the back of the store. We waited. We had already told the kids and there’s no way Isla would have moved on without ice cream. It’s her very favorite.
