Life as a Yowler

Apparently my abrupt ending caused some suspense. Sorry about that! The big surprise was a Disney on Ice show. We saw that they were touring Minneapolis right when we were arriving. I think they’re making their way to Michigan, because I saw the same show is coming to us soon.

Mickeys Search Party Show was amazing! My older kids have been to a different Disney on Ice show with their Aunt Bethany a couple years ago. Tonight’s was a first for myself, Caed, and Isla. I was a little nervous about taking Isla. That girl is a little bit of a loose canon lately. You never know what kind of behavior you’ll get from her. She did amazing tonight. She was so cuddly and watching intently the whole time. She loved the show just as much as the other kids. Isla is sure growing up. She seems so much bigger to us, even from the last trip. She really seems to know what’s going on. She understands. She doesn’t want to miss out on things. Plus she’s been sleeping really well, which is a huge blessing.

We drove to our next hotel and quickly changed before heading into mineapolis. The kids still had no clue What the surprise was, despite the clothing. Brielle even had on a costume, but it still went right above their heads. Brielle is like “oh mom, I love this Moana costume. Thanks for packing it!”

We arrived at the Target Center in Mineapolis. The older kids both thought they figured out the surprise then. Brielle thought we were going shopping at Target. Joah thought we were going target shooting. 🤣 It wasn’t until we got in line and they saw all the other kids dressed in Disney clothes, that we told them what we were doing. They were all so excited.

Toy story was awesome. One of my favorite things of the night was watching Caed’s face. He is so expressive. He loved the whole show, especially Toy Story and Frozen. I kept catching him singing along to the songs and clapping.

What an amazing show! Disney is expensive, but they sure do things well. Every Disney experience we’ve ever had has been amazing. I love visiting the parks and I loved this show! With the exception of Isla, we will all remember this and the fun memories made.
