Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin

I should clarify what I was trying to convey in my previous blog post. I definitely wasn’t trying to appear ungrateful or say that my life is bad. Good grief. That’s not the case at all. I am blessed beyond measure. I do recognize that. We have some of the funnest times. We have so many opportunities, and I really am grateful for them. At the same time, I’m human. Sometimes I struggle with comparing myself to others. Sometimes I reflect on how different my life is from what I thought it would be. But honestly, it’s so much better. I’m blessed with four amazing kids. I am so blessed to be able to stay home with them. I’m blessed with a hard working husband. I’m blessed with lots of opportunities and a very comfortable home and life. I have absolutely no idea what it means to be in need or want of anything. I am so so blessed!

It was some sort of memorial built by a pastor of the Holy Ghost Parish. There were so many beautiful colorful rocks to look at, and a path around back to walk.

It was literally inside a barn with rustic decorations. It was beautiful. The food was great.

Most every restaraunt has a soup and salad menu. All my kids love salad. Tonight we had them all get the soup and salad bar.

Earlier today Brandon asked our kids if they would change anything about their life. Both boys said no. They wouldn’t change a thing. Brielle pipes up and goes “yes. I would definitely change Satan. He is a really really bad guy.”

Another funny story…. About half way through our 3 hour time in the water park, Isla got very hangry. We literally had the place to ourselves other than the lifeguards. I chose a corner and turned my chair around and started nursing. I didn’t realize the male lifeguard was cleaning the water park. He came right up behind us, so I quick whipped it in. Isla, of course started screaming. The poor guy was just absolutely clueless what I was doing. He was talking to the screaming baby for the longest time. He was asking her questions like “what in the world does your mom have you over here in timeout for?” “You don’t want to be turned around facing the corner do you?” He went on and on. Isla was literally screaming “Boob. Boob. Mom. Boob.” This poor cluesless dude has been the butt of our joke all day.

Fun fun times!!!!
