How do we pass the time on a rainy day stuck inside the RV? We play games. Down by the Bay was going great. The younger kids were rhyming and being adorable. Then Joah chimes in…..”have you ever seen a Jeannie(grandma) with a really big weenie?” 😳😳😳
Did I handle it appropriately. No I did not. I laughed…..hard. That was then end of our game.
It has been raining and cold here today. It’s 50 degrees, and has rained off and on all day. We did school, read books, took rest time, and played games.I tried to take the kids outside for awhile. I warned them it was very cold. “Oh we don’t mind, mom. We’re tough!” We bundled and walked up to the park. About 2.5 minutes into our fun time Joah asks, “are you sure it’s not Winter, mom?”
After about 6 minutes Brielle started crying “I’m so so cold, mom.” Caed followed after with his dramatic whining. I told them “oh no. We are making this worth our time. We are staying out at least a half hour, and if I hear one more complaint I will take you and throw you in that icy cold swimming pool.” That was the end of their complaining, plus it was really good parenting.

Brandon worked all day. I had soup waiting for him when he got home.
The old unhealthy Yowler’s would have just grabbed dinner at the Mall of America tonight, which is where we are headed now. The new healthy Yowler’s ate first. I told Brandon I have got to get these kids out of this RV, so we are headed to the mall to get some energy out.
