Jellystone Campground

We have stayed at two Jellystone campgrounds this trip. The first was in Austin, Minnesota and the second is in Caledonia, Wisconsin.  Brandon has driven all over the surrounding areas for work while the kids and I have stayed parked at the camp. I can’t even tell you how nice it is to stay parked rather than drive in the RV from camp to camp. It’s fun to have more time to get to know the campground and become familiar with it.

Aunt Bethany drove in for a few days to help me out with the kids. There’s a big water park at the Caledonia campground, and I wanted to have some help with the kiddos. There are water slides and lots of activities. It’s not like we’ve ever dunked the baby or anything, but extra help can’t hurt right?  Plus the kids all adore their aunt. Caed greeted her by saying, “ooooh Bethany, you smell like coconuts!” The hilarious thing is he was accurate.

They had one of those huge inflatable hamster balls. The girl running it warned the kids that the hole you climb in doesn’t close, so run the opposite direction of the hole. Joah did great.

It’s ok, as there are plenty of other activities for the little guys.

It’s been a great couple of weeks! We are very blessed to be able to tag along on these trips.
