Here we are….back at it again. We are on another RV trip. First stop…..Birch Run…..General RV it was. We have had the RV there since our last trip 4 weeks ago. This morning before we left, the big slide out quit working again. It’s also still leaking water down below the unit every time it rains. The good news is General RV is advocating for us and working with the manufacturer. It’s possible they will end up needing to replace the unit, which I have mixed feelings about…..soooo much work involved but who wouldn’t want a new RV? We will see what happens. For this trip, it’s fixed enough to drive it. It wasn’t all bad needing to stop in Birch Run. We got some shopping in at the outlet mall. Plus we got to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings.
The fun thing about this trip is the first week will be spent with my Gascho family and there won’t be any business for Brandon to do during that time. It will make for a much more relaxing trip. The other fun thing….uncle Lance and Grant are traveling with us. This is a Lance’s senior trip and we brought my youngest two brothers early with us so we can do some site seeing things along the way. My mom, dad, and Evan fly in in a couple days. We will all stay at a rental house together. Then the Yowler family will finish up our trip with Brandon doing business and store trainings. So for the trip to Colorado, we are blessed with Lance and Grant’s presence.

“What’s it like traveling with young kids?” Uncle Grant wondered. Well Grant, in only about 5 short minutes after I take this picture, you will find out. Boom…..Caed(who is newly potty trained) pees all over uncle Grant.

Caed took one big sip of this food pack and made the most classic gross out face and goes, “pllllltttt!!! Let’s give this purple carrot one to Isla Grace.” She didn’t complain at all.

We had a great beginning of the week with my oldest two kids going to VBS. They loved it. Here is Joah painting some rocks in his class. I’m so thankful for all the teachers who spend so much time and energy pouring into our kids.
I was so blessed this week by our community. I’m so thankful to be surrounded by friends who are more than willing to help me. I’ve also learned to take people up on their offers to help. I was overwhelmed and swamped with so many things going on. Brandon had a couple small trips, making for lots of packing and unpacking and single parenting. I was trying to get everything ready for this trip, and couldn’t pack the RV until last minute because it was in Birch Run.
Jaime took Caed for me during VBS one morning and I was able to have the entire morning to pack and clean up the house to leave.
Arin took my oldest two kids home with her from VBS giving me the entire afternoon to grocery shop and load the RV with just two kids.
I was able to catch up with Jessi at the park and let the kids play together. It’s like therapy for them and for us, having another adult to talk to.
I am so blessed to be apart of such a great community. I’m so thankful for all who helped me and for those who I know are praying for us as we travel. You are greatly appreciated! Looking forward to making lots more memories this trip!
