Ive been falling behind on blogging due to being so busy. I’ve found it’s easier for me to write when we are out traveling, because there’s lots of downtime while Brandon is driving the RV. When we drive somewhere while home in michigan, I’m usually the one driving the kids around, so blogging might now be the smartest move.
We have had a crazy busy couple weeks. I wrote about spending a week in Indiana. We came home at got back at 11:30pm on the 14th. The 15th was my birthday, but I hardly had a chance to think about it. I was busy unpacking and getting ready for Caed’s birthday celebration that night. We still hadn’t celebrated his birthday from back on June 5th. We had family coming into town for Lance’s graduation open house on the 16th, and they were going to join us for a small birthday party for Caed’s 3rd birthday. In the midst of all the chaos I got a text from Brandon saying “I need you to drive the kids to shop to see Melinda(The Art Van buyer who came up from Detroit to the shop for the day) . She brought you a very generous birthday gift and you need to come bring your A game to receive it.” Now I totally understand business relations. Melinda always goes above and beyond and brings gifts for the kids and she’s been amazing. However half of us were pant less. All of us were un bathed. One of us was completely naked and potty training. One of us was very stressed and this sent her into an almost meltdown. I thought fast. Brandon’s mom was on the way from Ohio for lance’s open house. I decided to rebel against Brandon’s wishes, but only half way. I was going to leave half the kids with Grandma Yowler, so I would only have three people to get ready instead of five. She arrived and J and B were both crying and wanting to stay home with Grandma. So i left the oldest three kids with her and just took the babe.
I was blown away by her generousity.
She brought these cute bags. The red one was for me and it had a huge bottle of wine in it. She told me if there’s anyone who deserves it, it’s me. She told me she thinks I’m a great mom and I take great care of the kids and I need to relax and enjoy myself and drink some wine. I was so thankful and felt like a jerk for being a grump about coming.(although I left that part out of my thank you).
She got I-bug the cutest little swimsuit. She got Brielle a crayola Barbie she can color. She got the boys each a remote control car and a squirt gun. It’s amazing how she knows each of the kids and knows their interests. She is really incredible and so good to us.

We celebrated Caed’s birthday the evening of the 15th. Grandma Yowler made his T Rex cake. He was so excited!
We had a pizza party at his request. Boy loves his pizza.

We went to Carson’s birthday party the morning of the 16th.

The afternoon and evening of the 16th we had Lance’s graduation open house. I didn’t take a single picture. Oops!
Brandon was busy traveling this last week. The kids and I stayed home. We stayed very busy. Grandpa Gascho got a new goat this week and the kids and I were there to greet him when he first came.

Joah got to help unload him.
When Brandon came home he got each kid a huge candy necklace.

We had some excited and very very hyper kids.
We came to Big Ticket Festival this last weekend. We had a blast. We didn’t think we were going to be able to go because the RV was still getting fixed. At the last minute they called and said it was fixed enough for us to take. So we loaded up and came. We stayed at the Krohn’s place in Gaylord. It was so nice. We met some really nice people and hung out with some we already knew. They were so generous in opening their home to so many. We made a lot of memories and are so thankful for their hospitality.
There were lots of people
Up at the concerts.

We have had a great couple of weeks!
