Reno, Nevada

We have taken it easy the last couple days. Besides Brandon doing his store trainings, we’ve mostly been hanging out at camp. Reno has a free circus that we were going to go to, but the kids voted not to go. Joah said, “we’ve already seen a circus, I would rather ride my bike around camp.” Even the kids are exhausted.

IMG_8519.JPGWe had a corner lot at the campground, giving the kids a nice size yard to play in. It was perfect. We played outside all day while Brandon did his store trainings.

IMG_8523.JPGI had the kids so some target shooting with their squirt guns while I did some reorganizing under the RV. We had it totally organized before the trip, but it’s amazing how quickly it gets messed up when we are in and out of so many campgrounds. We throw stuff in when we are in a hurry. The squirt guns entertained them, and I was able to get the job done.

IMG_8527.JPGWe did some grocery shopping to restock the fridge with produce, only to find out that when we rendered the state of California we had to go through an agricultural checkpoint. They asked us if we had any produce in our vehicle. We didn’t lie. We said, “um yes an entire fridge full.” It all ended up working out. We only lost 2 bags of apples. Our cutie oranges and tomatoes got checked, but they were approved. Everything else got approved as well.

IMG_8539.JPGOur campground was close to a cabelas, so we took the kids up to walk around.

IMG_8540.JPGThere were tons of animals.

IMG_8542.JPGCaed fell in love with this airplane. We decided to let him get it for his birthday present.

IMG_8555.JPGHe was very excited.

IMG_8564.JPGI made two pans of chicken enchiladas last night….one to eat and one to freeze for later. Joah ended up eating half a pan, so I had to rethink my plan. That boy must be growing.
