San Francisco, California

IMG_8370.JPGOne of the things I wanted to see in San Fransico was the Full House home. I was so excited to find out it’s very true to the show. The home and Golden Gate Bridge are only 5 minutes apart. The house was right in downtown San Fransico. We also went to Alamo Square Park, which is where they filmed the picnic scene in the theme song. I had the kids sit in the same spot they had the picnic with the Painted Ladies(the homes) in the background.

San Fransico is a beautiful city. I love the Victorian style homes. It’s very clean and well kept. I will say though that we’ve had the hardest driving we’ve ever had. Driving a motor home through California has been interesting. There are a lot of roads that semis and motor homes aren’t allowed on. We aren’t familiar with the roads, so we have had no idea what to expect. It took us an extra hour to get from one campground to another due to constantly being rerouted. We were in a rush to get Brandon’s sister to the airport. We were worried she was going to be late getting to the airport. We ended up getting her there in time only for her to find out her flight got delayed.

We drove over the Golden Gate Bridge two times.

IMG_8312.JPGWe found The Full House home and snapped a picture. There were signs everywhere saying the home was under video surveillance. To my knowledge, there is no one living in the home. The homes are very close together, just like I pictured them being. The kids, Joah especially, has been watching a lot of the show in preparation for this moment. 😂 He has chosen to watch 2 episodes of Full House almost every day for his rest time in his bunk bed. Brielle loves Michelle. They were both a little disappointed to find out the Tanners don’t live there anymore.

IMG_8363.JPGI got all the pictures I wanted, so we let the kids run around and play at the park for awhile.

IMG_8358.JPGIMG_8374.JPGIt was a beautiful park, with a great view of the City.

IMG_8317.JPGWe ate at a really nice steakhouse called Epic Steakhouse. It had an incredible view of the Bay Bridge.

IMG_8316.JPGIMG_8322.JPGIMG_8326.JPGBrielle was very proud of her artwork she made waiting for her meal. The atmosphere was very nice. It was pretty upscale. There were no other young kids that I saw. There weren’t too many other tables with rainbow ponies left on them. We left our own unique mark. 😂
