Napa,California

IMG_8399.JPGWine country is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. We went to a family friendly winery last night called Francis Ford Coppola Winery. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very friendly. The food was great. It was Italian food. Joah ordered spaghetti with a meatball the size of Isla’s face. He was pretty excited about that. We walked in and once again, we were the only ones with young kids. The people around us were so friendly. We had two couples after their meals come up to our table and thank Brandon for bringing his whole family. They encouraged us that we were doing a great job and our kids were well behaved. The one lady told me we need more mom’s around here like you…..mom’s who are devoted to raising kids and serving her husband. We had a group of ladies come up to our table that maybe drank a little too much wine, but were very nice. They were loving all over the kids. They couldn’t get enough of Isla. The one lady asked if she could pick Caed up. We told her sure. She was like “oh my is he ever solid.” šŸ˜‚ Caed was glaring at her with his recent Caed glare that he’s started.

IMG_8387.JPGOur campground recommended we take the kids to this Winery because it’s very family friendly and a great environment.

IMG_8388.JPGI let Isla eat some blueberries. She was loving them. She was licking and licking the spoon. It was hilarious.

Brielle is all about the colorful artwork lately.

After our meal I took the kids outside to run and play while Brandon bought some bottles of wine for gifts. The kids needed to get some energy out since they sat so well for the meal. I needed to prevent them from breaking every bottle of wine in the Winery.

I had them have a competition to see who could run up and down the steps the most times without getting tired. Joah won.

As a side note I love California but I could never live here. I will travel to it anytime. It’s beautiful, but like I said I couldn’t live here. You have to give yourself around an hour of extra time anywhere you go. It’s literally rush hour all day long, no matter what time of day it is. There are constantly accidents which cause us to have to reroute. I can hardly make it on time to places in Pigeon. I can’t imagine how late I would run living here. All I can think is “how In the world do parents get their kids to school on time?”
