Life as a Yowler

Welcome to California. You have to pay for everything, even Walmart bags. In case you’re curious of a price, they were .50 each. Also everything that comes in a recyclable container, you get charged for. So our gallon of milk, our jug of apple juice, and everything else that came in a plastic container or can we got charged extra for…..$1 extra for the milk and juice and .40 for the cans.

We had a beautiful drive here. We drove through the Mojave desert. It took us an extra hour, but we wanted the kids to see the desert. They were excited. They got to see huge cactus.

Check out the cloud on the top of the mountain. The drive was so beautiful.

We saw lots of wind turbines. The kids thought we were back home in Huron County.

I had to do a double take and make sure I didn’t get left behind and I wasn’t staring at our RV driving away. Something we would definitely do is leave a towel on our ladder like these people. 😂

My little baby brothers had their junior and senior prom today. I can’t believe it. Time flies. I remember when they were my kids age. I used to babysit Halle and I just keep picturing that little girl. Well now that I feel old.

Check out Grant the stud and his date. They are way too cute! Joah was very impressed by Grant’s socks.
