We stayed at a campground in Las Vegas the last two nights. Brandon had a lot of store trainings. Aunt Bethany flew in to help me manage all the kids. The kids were very excited to see her. Brielle screamed, “I love you so much, Bethany.” She brought them gifts…..like an entire carry on suitcase full of gifts. She sure does spoil them. We drove around Vegas yesterday while Brandon did his store trainings. She offered to take the oldest three kids to an indoor play place and drop me off at Target. I didn’t question. I took her right up on the offer and literally ran before she changed her mind. Bethany told me she spent about half the time in the bathroom with pooping kids. I was like “oh you’re kidding. That never happens to me.” 😉😂😂😂
After playing and Target, we picked Brandon up from his last store training for the day. We all drove to The Grand Canyon. Brandon and I were the only ones who had been there before. We chose to do The Sky walk so that we wouldn’t lose any kids over the edge of the canyon. I figured that was the safest way for them to see it. It was beautiful.
We did see the canyon on our walk to The Skywalk. Notice us gripping the hyper little boogers very tightly. I explained to them before hand, “if you run away from mom, you will fall off and die a brutal painful death.” I didn’t sugar coat it at all. They got the idea and they all listened pretty well.
The Skywalk was really cool. Caed was just a little scared at first but then he warmed up.

Bethany ran down and got this picture of us up on the Skywalk.

In case anyone was wondering, the little footies they gave us to wear on the Skywalk, also doubled as a hat for Caed. He threw a fit….like a throw himself on the floor kicking and screaming tantrum when I went to throw his footies away. One of the workers saw and gave him a brand new pair. Caed was so thankful and refused to take his “hat” off until we left. We did get a few looks, but you know what he wore it with so much confidence no one said anything to him. 😂
After the Skywalk we walked around and saw several different types of Native American homes.

Brandon and Bethany took the oldest theee kids rock climbing while I sat and nursed the baby. It worked out well. The kids got out their energy, and I didn’t have a heart attack. I saw pictures after everyone was safely on the ground again.
When we were walking back from rock climbing, we noticed several people staring at us. They were watching our entire family walk and interact. They came and talked to Brandon. It turns out they were a news crew. They asked permission to interview the kids about their experience at The Grand Canyon. Caed didn’t want to talk, but Joah and Brielle were more than willing. Joah did most of the talking. The segment will be aired mid June. They are going to email it to Brandon so we can watch it.
Joah didn’t stumble over his words st all. He spoke very clearly and looked right at the camera. That boy has more boldness and confidence than me that’s for sure. At one point Brielle started grabbing the microphone away and trying to take over talking. She was getting very tired of waiting for her turn.

We had all worked up a huge hunger by the time we were back at the RV. Brandon had Bethany order the biggest pizza she could on the way home. She didn’t disappoint. Notice how the box takes up 90% of the table. The kids had all fallen asleep on the drive home. They had no problem waking up to eat the worlds biggest pizza. It was Cade’s dream come true.
