Dinosaur Park

Today, instead of going with Brandon to his store trainings, we split up. We figured it would be a long day for the kids, and I wanted them to do something fun before we left Salt Lake. I drove the kids to a dinosaur park, and Brandon drove around with a sales rep who works for us. He worked all day today on trainings and meetings.  Grandma Yowler came with me to help with the kids to prevent a situation like one of the boys falling in the gorilla exhibit.

IMG_7466.JPGThey had huge dinosaurs to look at. We walked around outside for awhile. The three oldest kids love dinosaurs.  Caed was a little timid. They were all huge and they roared loud.

IMG_7485.JPGWe ended our time at the dinosaur park by digging for bones.

IMG_7491.JPGIMG_7493.JPGWe came back to the campground and the older two went swimming and bike riding while the younger two napped. I’m really hoping for some sound sleepers tonight. So far everyone’s been sleeping like rocks. They’ve  been playing so hard.

IMG_7500.JPGGrandma bought the kids a lego set from the dinosaur park. Joah followed the directions and put it together himself.

IMG_7502.JPGWe ate beef barley soup for dinner. I haven’t been posting what our dinners have been, but we have done mostly insta pot meals. It’s the easiest way to prepare food driving down the road.

After dinner Brandon and I were able to sneak away on a date. We left the oldest three with grandma. They were going to read books and wind down for bed.

IMG_7503.JPGWe came up to Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City. It was a beautiful walk and also very interesting. It was interesting for me to learn about the Mormon pioneers as well as some facts about the LDS church.

IMG_7510After our walk we went shopping at a two story Walmart. After we were done we sent our cart upstairs on the cart escalator. My mind was blown. It doesn’t take much to entertain me.
