Our drive here to Rock Island was a little eventful. We had the opportunity to test the air brakes on this new RV, when we were almost in an accident. Driving through Chicago, we were following another RV who was towing a vehicle on a trailer. Somehow the trailer came disconnected. Brandon slammed and I mean slammed on the brakes. I was up walking around caring for the various children of all ages. It totally caught me off guard, and Lori quick grabbed my arm to keep me from flying through the windshield. So thankful for protection and for my mother in law’s arm. 😂 If we had been in the old RV there is no way Brandon could have stopped in time.
We are staying at a Camelot themed KOA. We stayed here once before. It’s a beautiful campground.

When they were unsuccessful, they tried teamwork. Still no luck.
We moved on to other things like this….the world’s scariest slide for mothers. This thing was so tall.


We found some baby geese and watched them for awhile.

Poor poor Caed has his bed in the bathroom. Honestly it’s the best place because it’s right beside our bed, and we can keep an eye on him. He actually loves it. At this point in time he thinks his parents are the coolest humans around. He was so excited and while giving his aunt Kiersten a tour he yelled, “Kiersten, Kiersten, come check it out. I live in the bathroom.”
