Just like that, those 2.5 weeks flew by and we are off again on our next adventure. We are towing the suburban, so we are quite the long load. Brandon has really got this driving thing down. He does really well.
The last trip I was so anxious and had no idea what to expect. I didn’t know how traveling for forty days with four small kids would go. There were so many people praying for us, and I can’t explain it any other way than I could feel those prayers. I felt an overwhelming peace the whole time, even though there were a few stressful moments. I had a lot of fun. We all did. We made so many memories and had so much quality family time. This trip I know what to expect. I’m not anxious or nervous. I’m really excited. I know once again I have a community praying for me, and I’m so thankful. The way I have come to see things is: life with four young kids is hard whether we are at home or on the road, so I might as well go along with Brandon as he travels. He loves bringing us along. He loves when I am flexible and literally along for the ride. He just wants me to support him and that’s what I’m choosing to do.

Our very first stop…..General RV in Birch Run. No joke. We were having trouble with the shade over the front windshield. It wasn’t opening and closing properly. We knew this would be a big deal if we got down the road and it quit working all together. It’s not the safest driving with a closed blind over the window. So anyways, we wanted to stop and have it fixed on our way out. We didn’t want to have to stop at some random RV place along the way like last time. We didn’t want to be stranded again for 5 days with no one fixing the issues. I still have nightmares thinking about that whole ordeal. General RV got us in right away and fixed it while we went and drove the suburban around. They really are the best. They are always willing to work with us.
We are back to coloring and activity books to keep these cooped up kids busy and out of trouble.
Caed has been continuously chanting “RV trip. Rv trip. Rv trip.” He’s just a little excited.
