Life as a Yowler

We had a beach day today. It was exhausting but a lot of fun. Joah really mastered boogie boarding. The waves were really big today, but he didn’t give up. He also didn’t care that the waves kept knocking his pants down while he was boogie boarding.

Brielle gave a great effort to learn. The waves were so big and she was so little. She kept wiping out. Finally(after about 2 tries) she had enough. The one time she totally ate it and swallowed salt water. She was so upset and discouraged. She bounced back again very quickly by playing with sand toys. She has always loved the sand. Caed loves it too. He would rather play in the sand than the water.

Taking a little break from the sun and grabbing some lunch. I’ve learned with my family the best way to prevent meltdowns and prevent family members from  murdering one another…..feed them. All of us have blood sugar issues.

Joah’s boogie board ended up breaking. It was a cheap one from Target. We walked down to Ron Jon’s and got him a real one. It will get a lot of use.

We came back to camp and ate dinner then went to the night session. brandon has been speaking at the night session.

Brandon had Joah help him a little bit tonight.

The girls both ended up falling asleep during session.

As a side note there is the cutest little fluff ball of a puppy running around camp. The kids can’t get enough of him.
