Life as a Yowler

Not the most eventful day today, but I’m not complaining. We are still in our moble home. The RV will be fixed by the end of the day tomorrow. They figured out the problem for all three issues. The kids and I had a playground and pool day. Joah and Brielle were determined to go swimming, even though it’s not the warmest here. They were loving it, but they both started to turn a shade of blue. That’s when I made them get out.

The I-Bug and I watched them from the sidelines like they were crazy. Caed napped for 4 hours today. I love days when that happens. The pool was right across from our house, so I let him nap and kept checking on him.

This campground has been amazing and so accommodating to us. We keep changing our plans. We thought the RV was going to be done today. I had just gone to the office and worked out arrangements for an RV site tonight. Then the RV place called and said “never mind. The RV won’t be done until tomorrow.” I had to go right back to the nice office lady and say, “about that change I just made…..I need to now unchange it again.” She was so nice. At one point I said, “I’m so sorry. We’ve been on the road so long now and I am totally confused and I’ve lost all track of time. I didn’t even know today was Monday until I talked to Brandon.” She goes. “Actually today is Tuesday.” 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣

Tinight we grilled steak and had rice and cantaloupe. We ate a family picnic outside because the weather was perfect.

When we were done eating we decided to take the kids out for mint(green) ice cream since we never did anything for St. Patrick’s Day. When we got to Dairy Queen we found out today is free vanilla cone day. New plan…..the kids all got a vanilla cone. It worked out great!

As I washed dishes tonight I realized two things I fogot in the RV. Dish soap and a wash cloth. So I had no choice but to compromise……laundry detergent and a baby wipe. I’ll rewash our dishes later but for now this is good enough.

I also forgot makeup and tennis shoes for myself. We are going to Duck Commander tomorrow, so I’ll be going makeup free and with flip flops. Good thing there will be so many other rednecks around. I’ll be in good company! 😊
