We had a travel day to the state of Texas. While traveling we had a very unfortunate mishap. The fridge flew open and this happened. An entire container of salsa spilled. I thought about crying but I didn’t. I held it together, cussed, then immediately started cleaning. 
The first stop was Amarillo, Texas
We set up camp then went to the 2nd largest Canyon in the world. It was incredible. It reminded me so much of the Grand Canyon. I really couldn’t tell much difference.

We hiked a half mile trail. Joah was so excited each time he found a pile of cyote poop. There were tons of piles. Brielle was so excited each time she found a cactus.
I swallowed my panic and allowed the kids to climb a mountain. Caed was so scared but he did it. He was so proud of himself and kept saying “I did it!”

When we were done at the canyon we went to a destination restaraunt, The Big Texan. They are famous for their 72 ounce steak. Their challenge is if you can eat the 72 ounce steak in an hour you get it for free. We ordered one for our entire family and we ate half of it. Brandon ate most of it. I mean seriously I don’t know how in the world you could win the challenge. It was a really cool place to visit and good place to eat.
