Brandon and I were talking last night about how blessed we are to have the RV. It’s the single best purchase we’ve ever made as a family. It provides a great opportunity to travel together as a family. Our kids get to see the world. I know it’s a lot more work for Brandon to drive us all and set up and tear down camp every day, but he is willing to do it. In fact he’s more willing than me because he values our family time so much. So much of his job is spent on the road. I’ve gotten used to him traveling, but the kids always have a hard time when he’s gone. I’m thankful we get to come with him sometimes. For those of you wondering how I am holding up traveling with four kids, a nursing baby included, it’s not as nearly as difficult as what I was worried it would be. Honestly a day at home is difficult at times, but overall it’s a lot of fun and I enjoy my kids. Life on the road is the same. There are tough moments, but overall it’s going great. The hardest thing is breastfeeding, but that’s just as hard at home. Isla is such a stubborn little eater. The kids love these trips. They love family time. They love experiencing things. They have so many educational opportunities, and for the most part they are very thankful. They keep thanking us and telling us they love us. Even on the days when Brandon just does his store trainings and we don’t do anything other than hang out at camp, we are still having fun. We are loving the warm weather and outdoors. KOA campgrounds are our favorite. They are very family friendly with lots to do outside.
Yesterday we went to The US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. We all loved it, especially Joah. He loves space and last evening he wanted to FaceTime Brandon’s Grandpa Andy and tell him all about it. Papaw Andy loves to talk about outer space with Joah and Joah was so excited to tell Papaw all about the museum.

Joah designed his own Rocket then flew it.
The flying to Mars exhibit There were so many interactive things in the Spark Lab and there was a fun Rocket ride Lunch break. The kids each got an astronaut cup with their kids meal. Walking around on the moon
We let the kids each get a bag of space ice cream. It was really good.
We went to an authentic Mexican restaraunt for dinner thanks to Shawn and Jaime Orlik’s recommendation. It was awesome.
It was a very fun but very exhausting day. One would think our kids would have slept like rocks but ha……nope. It was one of the worst nights of sleep in history. I ate too much salsa which tore Isla up and Joah was awake half the night and singing very loudly. Got to love coffee!!!!! Today is a store training day for Brandon and then a travel day to Little Rock, Arkansas.
