Life as a Yowler

We got our basement totally dry and headed off for our trip.  Our first stop was in Ohio to see Brandon’s grandma. She is in the hospital in Springfield and has been very sick. We got to visit with her and she was very happy to see us. Brandon and I took a trip down memory lane after visiting Grandma.  Our dating days were in Springfield, Ohio.

We used to meet up over our lunch breaks and eat at El Toro. Brandon hasn’t found anything that compares in Michigan and we both miss it.

We also grabbed some donuts so our kids could experience Schulers.

We are staying at Brandon’s mom’s house for two nights. The kids always love coming. She always does fun crafts with them.

Bethany also had a fun surprise for brandon and I. Back in January when she watched the kids she took Joah and Brielle to a ceramics class in Columbus and had them make something for Mother and Fathers Day.

It was a great start to the trip and now we’re headed off to start store trainings and sight seeing tomorrow
